The Room Service Order Taker plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by managing in-room dining calls efficiently and professionally. Key responsibilities include:
Promptly answering all in-room dining calls with excellent telephone etiquette.
Taking accurate food and beverage orders, suggesting upsells where appropriate.
Providing detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and dietary considerations.
Communicating special requests and allergies clearly to kitchen and service staff.
Coordinating order timings to ensure timely delivery.
Handling guest complaints with professionalism and escalating when necessary.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Supporting other Food & Beverage operations during busy periods.
Previous experience in a similar hospitality role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
Exceptional guest service skills and telephone manners.
Ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure.
A genuine passion for hospitality and personalized service.
